Captain Archibald Henry Maule (Jock) Ramsay was a British Conservative Party member of Parliament in the 1930s. He was also the head and founder of the ultra-right-wing fascist organisation called the Nordic League. His most noteworthy achievement while in Parliament was as the Tory representative on the government’s Potato Marketing Board. Ramsay appears in all three books in the Addlestone Chronicles Trilogy. Because of his traitorous activities, he became the only sitting Member of Parliament ever to be interned under Defence Regulation 18B. This was passed just prior to the outbreak of WWII and allowed the British government to intern individuals suspected of being Nazi sympathisers and, at the same time, suspended their rights to habeas corpus. He was arrested in May, 1940 and gaoled in Brixton Prison. This was done despite claims made by his right-wing supporters and Conservative Party colleagues that this amounted to a breach of parliamentary privilege. After his release in September, 1944, he continued to support fascist causes, writing for and promoting his newly formed Right Club. In 1952, he wrote and published The Nameless War, an autobiography asserting every sort of Jewish conspiracy theory imaginable. These included the claim that the English, French, Russian, and Spanish Revolutions formed part of a Jewish campaign for world domination. He attempted to validate the debunked conspiracy theory embodied in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, (mentioned in Lebensborn, book II of the trilogy). He asserted John Calvin, the 16th century French theologian, was a Jew whose real name was Cohen, that Cromwell had been a paid agent of the Jews, and that the English Civil War and the execution of Charles I was staged in order to allow Jews to return to England. He died of natural causes in 1955.
So, wild conspiracy theories are not limited to US House of Representatives member from Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene. She asserted that the California wildfires were caused by Jewish Space Lasers!
